Low Noise EC Direct Drive Fan Motors
EC technology motors provide higher efficiency and energy savings compared with AC motors. EC stands for Electronically Commutated, often referred to as a Brushless DC electric motor (BLDC motor) with integrated controller electronics.
The fan is able to be speed controlled by 0-10VDC or as a fixed amount of speeds selectable on the unit.
ALC Interface Controller
Each fan coil has an ALC interface controller that allows for external input of 0-10V DC control of fan speeds, or option of a three-speed local switch fitted.
PTC Elements with SSR Relays
All electric heat units feature PTC elements, which adapts its output relative to air velocity. Due to this surface temperature control these safe self-limiting elements will not overheat.
Electric heat units also feature SSR element control relays, allowing either on/off silent operation or silent pulse operation of element control by customer and control systems installed.
Seamless Drain Tray
To remove the chance of water leakage the drain pan is a single one-piece seamless PVC tray. These rigid moulded PVC drain trays are light weight and have a low thermal conductivity which reduces condensation.
Hydrophilic Coated Coil Fins
All units feature Hydrophilic coated coil fins which allow better shedding of moisture and also protects aluminium fins from corrosion.
G2 Filters and Various Accessories
G2 filters come standard with the unit and are suitable in applications such as domestic, apartments and light applications where higher filteration is not required.
Various accessories are available with the Evolve series. These include:
• Flexible hoses.
• Spring mounting kits.
• Supply air multi-spigot plenums for low profile units.
Fully Compliant with AS/NZS Standards
- Drain tray compliant with AS3666.
- All equipment safety requirements outlined in AS/NZS 60335.2.40 in conjunction with AS/NZS 60335.1, household and similar appliances - Electrical Safety.
- All fan coils have been EMC tested in accordance with either AS/NZS CISPR14-1 (Residential) or AS/NZS 61000-6-8 (Commercial).
- A minimum Protection rating of IP20, compliant with IEC 60529.
- Seismic assessment ICC-ES AC156 with modification for AU/NZ (AS 1170.4 and NZS 1170.5.).
- Acoustic performance measured in accordance with BS 848, sound power (SWL).
- All units meet Greenstar requirements for access to coils.
- Filters supplied to meet AS/NZS 1668.2.
