Designed for Extremes
The VPA is particularly aimed at operating in the harsh environment of the mining communities of the Australian outback. Being tall and narrow, the unit can snugly fit alongside a house or commercial premises without interfering with gardens and pathways.
The Temperzone VPA unit is designed to survive in the high ambient temperatures (+52C) of Australia as well as the extreme lows of New Zealand's South (-15C). It can be used in cooling or heating mode with optional automatic changeover; additional de-humidifying in the moist subtropics.
VPA 160 Packaged Unit
Available as:
Reverse Cycle (Heating and Cooling)
Capacity Range kW:
Cooling: 6.9 ~16.1 kW
Heating: 6.3 ~ 15.8 kW
Refrigerant:
R410A only
Wide Ambient Temperature
Designed for -15°C (heating) to +52°C (cooling)
BMS CONNECTIVITY
Modbus or BacNet TCP/IP connection allows you to monitor a wide range of operational parameters, view fault logs and even take control of the unit
DIGITAL COMPRESSOR
Continuous modulation enables precise load control
EC PLUG FAN EFFICIENCY
Featuring EC plug fans that precisely adjust airflow to change in static pressure and provide superior efficiency.
ELECTRONIC VALVES
Electronic expansion valves for greater control and efficiency
Highly Adaptable
With its compartmentalised design, the VPA allows for multiple options of airflow direction, entries and exits.
The airflow direction (left to right or right to left) can be changed easily on site. Furthermore, the return air inlet to the VPA is quickly and easily changed from top to back to side. One of the entries could be used to introduce fresh air into the building. The supply air direction is changeable by simply moving a cover panel.
EC Plug Fans
- Improved efficiency and comfort through the supply of exact airflow requirements.
- Up to 50% more efficient than belt driven fans.
- Standard component in ECO Air Cooled Package Units
Variable capacity control
Optimum control of superheat at varying load for outstanding comfort with indoor air temperature and humidity control.
Increased efficiencies by lowering head pressure and optimum feeding of heat exchanger coils.
Dry Mode
Dry Mode and Super Dry Mode can only be achieved by temperzone ECO units as they utilise optimised Dual Electronic Refrigeration Valve control (IP protected) to achieve exceptional dehumidification performance across the units full operation range. EEV's provide optimum control of superheat at varying load for outstanding comfort with indoor air temperature and humidity control and increased efficiencies by lowering head pressure and optimum feeding of heat exchanger coils.
BMS Connectivity
No matter how simple or complex the climate control requirements, temperzone can offer a unit
that can be integrated into the building air conditioning infrastructure.Simplified BMS integration with Modbus or BACnet Communication Protocol.
Polyester Powdercoat
The sheet metal in temperzone units have the following treatment Metall Spray 315NS / Rinse / EcoSeal 800 / Powder Top Coat.Aluminium and Zinc-coated steel panels treated with Metall Spray 315NS and EcoSeal 800 process passed the performance requirements of AS/NZS 4506 for Atmospheric Classification D High Marine/Industrial Duralloy is a tough thermosetting powder coating that exhibits decorative and durable characteristics suitable for a broad range of interior and exterior product applications where excellent durability is required and with excellent colour retention.
Epoxy Coated coils
All Temperzone units come standard with epoxy coated indoor and outdoor coils for added protection in harsh enviroments. For corrosive environments, varieties of lacquered fin stock have been developed as an alternative to the more expensive copper fin stock.
Of the various coatings, for aluminium fin stock, epoxy has emerged as the preferred coating as protection against both chemical and salt laden air corrosion. The controlled application of epoxy, to the aluminium fin stock, results in a highly corrosion resistant epoxy film of only 4-5 microns.
