Coming Soon to Australia - New Chilled Water Fan Coil Ranges

Soon to be released to the Australian Market are our new Temperzone Evolve and Hush ranges of Chilled Water Fan Coil units.

This new series will include 3 separate ranges, the Evolve IMD-Y standard profile range; the Evolve IMDL-Y low profile range and the Hush IMDLQ-Y quiet low-profile range.

The Evolve IMD-Y standard profile range features high static fans and consists of 9 individual models with the following nominal airflows:

• IMD 97Y           450 l/s
• IMD 137Y         600 l/s
• IMD 172Y         750 l/s
• IMD 212Y         900 l/s
• IMD 282Y         1200 l/s
• IMD 352Y         1500 l/s
• IMD 422Y         1800 l/s
• IMD 522Y         2350 l/s
• IMD 702Y         2850 l/s

The Evolve IMDL-Y low profile range features high static fans. These low-profile units have heights between 255 and 265 mm for installations with space restrictions. Evolve IMDL-Y range consists of 4 individual models with the following nominal airflows:

• IMDL 42Y         200 l/s
• IMDL 62Y         330 l/s
• IMDL 92Y         440 l/s
• IMDL 132Y       650 l/s

The Hush IMDLQ-Y low profile range features quiet low static / low noise fans. These quiet low-profile units are perfect for installation in hotel and apartment applications where noise is an important consideration. Hush IMDLQ-Y range consists of 3 individual models with the following nominal airflows:

• IMDLQ 42Y      200 l/s
• IMDLQ 62Y      330 l/s
• IMDLQ 92Y      440 l/s

All Evolve and Hush fan coil units are available in left and right hand variations and can be configured with both heating and cooling coils; cooling coils only; or cooling coil with electric heat.

The Evolve and Hush ranges all have common features which make them a first choice when selecting chilled water fan coil units for your projects.

• All have EC direct drive fan motors to efficiently provide a wide range of air flows.
• All electric heat units feature PTC elements, which adapts its output relative to air velocity. Due to this surface temperature control these safe self-limiting elements will not overheat.
• Electric heat units also feature SSR element control relays, allowing either on/off silent operation or silent pulse operation of element control by customer and control systems installed.
• Each fan coil has an ALC interface controller that allows for external input of 0-10V DC control of fan speeds, or option of a three-speed local switch fitted.
• All units feature Hydrophilic coated coil fins which allow better shedding of moisture and also protects aluminum fins from corrosion.
• Low profile units feature rigid moulded PVC drain trays which are light weight and non-ponding. The low thermal conductivity reduces condensation.
• IMD-Y units feature painted galvanised steel drain tray, with external thermal insulation fitted to prevent condensation forming externally.
• Evolve chilled water fan coils are fully compliant with AS/NZS standards. These include standards relating to the drain tray; electrical safety; EMC compliance; protection rating; acoustic performance. Also meets Greenstar requirements for access to filters.

Various accessories are available with the Evolve and Hush series. These include:

• Low profile unit Filter options, flat panel (EU2/G2).
• Standard profile unit Filter box options with EU2/G2 flat panel filter or EU4/G4 with pleated 50mm filter.
• Flexible hoses.
• Supply air multi-spigot plenums for low profile units.
• Spring mounting kits.

To help speed up selections, the Evolve and Hush range of chilled water fan coils will be available in our Temperzone Fan Coil Selection Program. The selection program reports kW output according to airflow. In addition, tables of both sound power and sound pressure levels will be provided in our comprehensive technical documentation.
