Harcourts Rata & Co chose Hitachi SideSmart VRF for its compact design of both the indoor and outdoor units. The client had a strong desire to ensure that the outdoor units were not visible from the street view, and the SideSmart’s compact profile perfectly addressed this requirement.

Wi-Fi Control — Allows the key stakeholders to control the system and troubleshoot anywhere at any time via a smart device. Harcourts required remote access to the units, aligning perfectly with their technological preferences and providing them with greater control and convenience.
Compact installation — Lightweight Sidesmart™ Slim Modular VRF units were installed on the roof and compact indoor units maintained a minimalistic aesthetic. The client had a strong desire to ensure that the outdoor units were not visible from the street view.

Hitachi SideSmart™ Slim Modular VRF — Chosen because of their compact side discharge outdoor units which measure only 420mm deep, these were able to fit in the limited space available without sacrificing performance. This range also presented fewer complications during delivery and installation due to its lightweight build. Its modularity means that up to 4 outdoor units can be connected, offering a maximum combined cooling capacity of 152kW.
Compact Bulkhead Indoor Units - limited ceiling space on the ground floor played a crucial role in their decision-making process. The client’s preference for a sleek and minimalist design led them to select the compact bulkhead option, which harmoniously blended with the overall aesthetic.
Hitachi airCloud Pro VRF remote management — Installed to enable complete control via smartphone or web application. Project stakeholders were very impressed with the features of airCloud Pro, especially the capability for troubleshooting any system issues that may arise with access to an error history. Hitachi airCloud Pro alerts the users when maintenance is required to ensure the system is always operating efficiently and effectively.
