Temperzone’s state-of-the-art ThermoShell® sets new standards in water-cooled technology. Unlike coaxial and plate-type heat exchangers, ThermoShell prevents degradation in heat transfer efficiency due to water fouling, facilitating reliable operation throughout the unit service life.
EC technology motors provide higher efficiency and energy savings compared with AC motors.
EC stands for Electronically Commutated , often referred to as a Brushless DC electric motor (BLDC motor) with integrated controller electronics. The fan is able to be speed controlled by 0-10VDC or as a fixed amount of speeds selectable on the unit.
Epoxy Coated coils
All Temperzone units come standard with epoxy coated indoor and outdoor coils for added protection in harsh enviroments. For corrosive environments, varieties of lacquered fin stock have been developed as an alternative to the more expensive copper fin stock.
Of the various coatings, for aluminium fin stock, epoxy has emerged as the preferred coating as protection against both chemical and salt laden air corrosion.The controlled application of epoxy, to the aluminium fin stock, results in a highly corrosion resistant epoxy film of only 4-5 microns.
Modbus or BacNet TCP/IP connection allows you to monitor a wide range of operational parameters, view fault logs and even take control of the unit.

ThermoShell® technology is Temperzone’s new high performance, compact heat-exchanger for refrigerant and water systems.
ThermoShell enables considerably lower water flow rates and water pressure drops to be accommodated by the system, with minimal effect on duty and efficiency. This leads to a reduction in hydronic equipment size, reducing capital and operating costs.

Water regulating valve control
The UC controller can operate a modulating water valve or a on/off shut off valve. The water regulating valve 0-10VDC reference can be provided directly from the UC controller in the HWP. The water regulating valve will be controlled to obtain an optimum condensing temperature providing a higher EER at varying air on conditions.

HWP models from 36~275 can be controlled by a BMS via modbus/RS485 port with multi-unit control capability. Up to 99 units can be connected on a common RS485 bus in daisy chain design.
There are many benefits of BMS connectivity including the ability to monitor units from a PC, provide globall scheduloing and view faults and operational data.
Another benefit in some applications is the reduction of control cabling and installation of 3rd party BMS relay boards. The removal would provide substantial savings in captial costs and labour.
