Temperzone's High Energy Efficiency and exceptional controllability are our use of Advanced Variable Technologies.
You may not recognise the Accolade name even though it is now the 5th biggest wine producer globally and has a portfolio of 51 premium wine brands from Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe.
The Accolade story starts with famous Australian wine producer Hardys Wines in South Australia and now includes well known Australian labels like Grant Burge, Banrock Station, Berri Estates, Tatachilla, St Halletts and Houghtons
Included in the big statistics are the 11 Temperzone OPA1370 Rooftop package units and 3 of Temperzone’s flagship OPA 2100 Eco Ultra Rooftop Package units on the roof of the new plant. Together these units deliver over 2000 kW of air conditioning.
Temperzone was installed based on energy efficiency which was a key requirement for this project.
After initially having Temperzone Eco and Eco Ultra units specified for the project, another company, with completely different technology approached the building owner directly with a proposal claiming superior energy efficiency.

To resolve the fairly technical energy efficiency analysis of the two proposals an independent consultant was brought in. The consultant’s conclusion was that the Temperzone units provided significantly better energy efficiency across the entire duty cycle.
The conclusion was that Temperzone equipment provided the biggest energy efficiency dividend as well as an exceptional level of control.
The key to Temperzone’s High Energy Efficiency and exceptional controllability are our use of Advanced Variable Technologies.
