Two Iconic Brands, One Ideal Solution

Bundaberg Motor Group is the biggest multi-franchise dealership in the Wide Bay - Burnett region with a purpose-built premises that houses 9 new car brands, used cars and a service and parts centre, all located in the centre of Bundaberg.

With a facility of this size, their air conditioning needs were unique and varied. Temperzone Queensland worked closely with Toowoomba based mechanical contractor NRG Services and consultant Diametric Engineers to select the best equipment based on the building design and performance specifications.

The base build design required six Temperzone reverse cycle ducted split systems, ranging from 21kw to 57kW for the main showrooms and a Hitachi VRF system for the offices, service, and finance departments. The Temperzone ISD/OSA 211 as well as the ISD/OSA351 ducted systems used on the project are R32 Inverter systems. First to introduce low GWP R32 refrigerant into systems of this type and capacity allows us to reduce associated GHG emissions by between 75-80% per kW of heating or cooling as well as delivering exceptional part load performance. Temperzone is set to continue its release of new R32 inverter commercial products this year as part of our commitment to the be the first commercial local manufacturer with a complete range of R32 products.

The Hitachi VRF systems is a modular 73kW with 15 x 4-way cassettes and 1 ducted system. Advanced PC-ARF local controls were used throughout the system and in each office, ensuring the staff can control the comfort levels throughout the entire complex.
